The ARW Equity Index Illustration System is a hypothetical product specific equity index
illustration system. This unique illustration system allows you to chose a specific
equity index annuity, allows you to chose a specific issue date, allows you to allocate
premiums among the accounts offered within the product and calculates the "Historical Returns".
Historical Returns are based on the closing values of the indices used within the account. Account Values are calculated for each year providing, the annual change in the index, interest credited, accumulated value, surrender value, annualized return and guaranteed minimum values. Annual values are calculated on a "current basis" (current participation rate, cap and spread) and on a "minimum guaranteed basis" (if the minimum participation rate, minimum cap and maximum spread specified in the contract). |
